Columbia man injured in motorcycle collision By Ofc. Josh Brockman, Public Affairs Officer Columbia Police Department, Chief Jason Cross A Columbia man was injured in a motorcycle collision Sunday afternoon, June 23, 2013, in the limits of Columbia. The collision occurred when 63 year Jimmy Hughes of Columbia was operating a 1991 Suzuki motorcycle travelling east on Lancaster street and lost control, causing him to leave the right shoulder of the roadway, striking a parked vehicle in a private drive. Hughes was treated for leg injuries at the scene by Adair County EMS and transported to Taylor County Regional Hospital, Campbellsville, KY, from the scene for further treatment.
