Sugarfoot: It takes special people to do what Peg & Ken do

By Wendy Gousha
Personal Commentary

I have so much respect for Peg and Ken.

It takes a 'special' human being to do what they do. As much as I love animals, it would be incredibly hard for me to hear the stories that she hears and to look into the eyes of abused animals.

I have taken in stray dogs and nursed them as best as I can and find them good homes. I have also taken a dog to Peg when I couldn't find the right home for him.

She took him and kept me updated on his well being. Without Sugarfoot in our area, we would be over populated with strays, our local animal shelter would turn away more than they could handle.

I applaud Peg and Ken for their devotion and hard work, their endless care and love they have for these precious animals.

Just think of the ones that aren't saved!

So sad that we live in a world where people are not thankful for the little things that people do everyday for everyone.

Thank you Peg!

Sincerely, --Wendy Gousha
