Edith Hawkins, 87, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 4:10pmET, Friday, June 21, 2013 in Campbellsville, KY

The funeral mass for Edith Hawkins will be at 9amCT/10amET, Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church, 9259 Old Lebanon Road, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Jim Reinhart. Burial will be in Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church Cemetery, Finley. Visitation iwll be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY.



Pallbearers; Garry Goodin, Troy Hawkins, Terry Knopp, Larry Morgan, Chris Reynolds, and Bobby White.


Edith Hawkins, Taylor County, KY (1926-2013)


Edith Hawkins, was the daughter of the late Joe Knopp and Hazie Shipp Knopp. She was born Wednesday, May 5, 1926 in Taylor County, KY. She died Friday, June 21, 2013 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 87 years, 1 month, and 16 days.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church and a homemaker.

She united in marriage to Clayton Caulk July 13, 1946. He preceded her in death December 13, 1965. She united in marriage Glenn Hawkins July 6, 1967.

Besides her husband, Glenn Hawkins of Campbellsville, KY, she is survived by the following:
  • One step-daughter: Joyce Denise Corbin and husband, Curtis of Louisville, KY

  • One step-grandson: Brian Corbin and wife, Sabrina of Louisville, KY

  • Two step-great-grandchildren: Liam Corbin and Colin Corbin

  • One brother and one sister: Joe Knopp of Campbellsville, KY; and Helen Williams of Indianapolis, IN

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one step-grandson, Kevin Corbin' and five sisters and two brothers: Ann White, Lucille Yates, Catherine Morgan, Dorothy Knopp, Margaret Knopp, Marion Knopp and Edwin Knopp.
