Adair County Knife Club makes $710 Donation to the Kosair

Mr. Leroyse Melson tells how much Kosair has meant to his family. Robert Flowers, a trustee of Kosair Charities speaks on the many programs the Charity helps when Adair Countians need help. Other's present to accept the Knife Swap donation were Joe Flowers, Robert Flowers, Jimmy Woody, and Dr. Ronald P. Rogers

The Adair County Knife Club made a donation of $710.00 to the Kosair Charities.



Mr. Leroyse Melson, along with his grandson Jorden, who attends the Knife Swap, wanted to thank God for sparing Jorden's life when he battled Burkett's Lymphoma when he 7. He stayed in the Kosair Children's Hospital for 4-1/2 months while the Kosair Children's Hospital when he was 7.

He went for a checkup this year and he has been cancer free for 7 years. Mr. Melson also wanted to thank doctors and nurses for being so dedicated and caring for Jorden and the family.

Mr. Roberts Flowers talked about how the Kosair Charities supported the Kosair Children's Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House and other Charities.

The Kosair representatives present to accept the check were Joe Flowers, Robert Flowers, Jimmy Woody, and Dr. Ronald Rogers.

The Knife Club would like to thank the members, the ones who come form the community and surrounding counties who support the Knife Swap and help us in making this donation to the Kosair Charities. - Harrison Moss, for the Adair County Knife Swap Club
