Briggs Christian Lynn, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013, at the Kentucky Children's Hospital in Lexington, KY.

Funeral services will be at 10amCT/11amET, Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Matt Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hustonville Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-9pmET, on Monday, June 17, 2013, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers will be Jordan Rousey, Nelson Lynn, Greg Tapscott, and Tyler Cochran. Honorary pallbearer will be Bryson Chansler.

Born July 19, 2011, in Boyle Co., KY. He was the son of Nick and Ashley Rousey Lynn. He died Sunday, June 16, 2013, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY. He was 1 year, 10 months, and 28 days young.

Briggs attended the Rocky Ford Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Nick and Ashley Rousey Lynn of Hustonville, KY, and the following:
  • Paternal grandparents: Jerry Lynn of Liberty, KY; and Cathy Lynn of Monticello, KY

  • Paternal great-grandmother: Jo Ann Joines of Liberty, KY

  • Maternal grandparents: Gerald and Linda Rousey of Hustonville, KY

  • Maternal great-grandmother: Daisy Rousey of Liberty, KY

  • Uncles: Nelson Lynn of Liberty and Jordan Rousey of Hustonville, KY

  • Special cousins: Bryson Chansler and Tobey Rousey

  • Special pet dog: Jasper

  • And a host of other family and friends
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Kentucky Children's Hospital Development University of Kentucky, 138 Leader Avenue, Lexington, Kentucky 40506-9983. Donation forms are available at the funeral home.
