Andrew J. Burton age 65 years of Columbia, KY passed away Thursday, June 6, 29013 at 5:30amCT, at his home.

Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Friday, June 7, 2013 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Burial will be in the Absher Cemetery, 1460 Snake Creek Road, Columbia, KY.


Andrew J. Burton, Adair Co., KY(1947-2013)


He was born on October 15, 1947 in Adair County, KY He was the son of the late James Harlan and Jewell Edna Harmon Burton. He died Thursday, June 6, 29013, in Columbia, Adair County, KY at the age of 65 years, 7 months, and 22 days.

He is survived by his wife Judy R. Willis Burton of Columbia, KY and the following:
  • Three sons: Noel (Lou) Burton of Campbellsville, KY; Glen (Darlene) Burton of Columbia, KY; and Mark (Tracy) Burton of Edmonton, KY

  • One daughter: Roberta E. Furkins of Russell Springs, KY

  • Three brothers: Woody Burton of Columbia, KY, Davis Burton of Gary, IN and Carl Eugene Burton of Columbia, KY

  • Four sisters: Elizabeth Burton of Russell Springs, KY, Carolyn Jean Burton of Columbia, KY, Dorinda Streeval of of Columbia, KY, and Dorkis Frances Burton of Columbia, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • FIve great grandchildren

  • And several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends
Preceded in death two grandchildren Stephanie Burton and Cody Burton, also the following siblings Rena Burton, Joe Burton, Elmer Ernest Burton and Jackie Lewis Burton.

Andrew was a farmer.
