LWC's Pooler named Mid-South Conference AD of the Year Pooler also received the conference's athletic director of the year honor during the 2004-05 and 2006-07 academic years and shared it in 2011-12 Click on headline for complete story with photo(s) By Chris Wells News from Lindsey Wilson College CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - Lindsey Wilson College athletic director Willis Pooler has been selected by his peers as the 2012-13 Mid-South Conference Athletic Director of the Year. The honor is the fourth for Pooler since becoming the athletic director at Lindsey Wilson during the 2003-04 academic year. Pooler was honored at the conference's annual summer meeting at the Winters Dining Hall on the Campbellsville University campus on Wednesday. "I'm happy to accept this award on the behalf of our student-athletes, coaches and administration," Pooler said. "Lindsey Wilson had an incredible year on the field of play and in the classroom and all the credit goes to our coaches and student-athletes who work tirelessly throughout the year to represent this great institution. "I would like to our administration for their continued support and my fellow athletic directors for this honor. It is a true pleasure to work with outstanding professionals within the best conference in the NAIA." Pooler also received the conference's athletic director of the year honor during the 2004-05 and 2006-07 academic years and shared it in 2011-12. In 2012-13, Lindsey Wilson captured the MSC President's Cup -- the conference's all-sports trophy -- for a third time and for a second straight academic year. Six Blue Raider athletic programs won the regular season title and seven captured the conference tournament title in 2012-13. In the classroom, Lindsey Wilson produced 99 academic all-conference performers during the year. This story was posted on 2013-06-06 10:21:43
