By Victoria Browning Pike
News from the Adair County Democratic Women's Club

The Adair County Democrat Women's Club will be having a bake sale to benefit our scholarship fund at June Dairy Day, June 15, 2013, 102 Public Square starting at 9amCT/10amET. We will be in the fountain area close to Grimsley\'s Jewelry. Please bring your baked goods, either packaged single or whole, priced by start time of 9amCT/10amET.

If you need to leave it the day before, please call me at 270-384-3348 or Cynthia Rowe at 384-5431. Monetary donations also appreciated and it goes to providing an ACHS Senior a $500 scholarship each year.

Also, please stop by with your annual dues. These must be into the state Democrat Women's Club this month. These help support two state scholarships given during our annual convention in the fall. Membership committee is Margie Collins, Marsha Walker, and Vicky Pike.

Thanks to all our loyal members for their most generous donations toward our scholarship in the past. Vicky Pike --victoria pike
