He was the son of the late Thurman and Ann Lavice Brown Coffey and Air Force Veteran. He leaves 14 direct living descendants

Kenneth Thurman Coffey age 60 of Edmonton died Saturday June 1, 2013 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.

Funeral services will be 1pmCT/2pmET, Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at the Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Coffey Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 4pm-8pmCT, at the funeral home.

He was the son of the late Thurman and Ann Lavice Brown Coffey and an Air Force Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Coffey, and the following:
  • Four children: Shane and wife Natalie Coffey of Brooklyn, IN; Missy and husband Rick Hammontree of Edmonton, KY; Nate Coffey-Teal of Bowling Green, KY; Shaina Coffey of Cave City, KY

  • Ten grandchildren Jesse, Kaci, Ally, Daphne, Autumn, Declan, and Makaylee Coffey, Jade, Dylan, and Johnny Hammontree

  • Three brothers: Tommie and wife Carolyn Coffey of Indiana, Bobby Coffey of Edmonton, KY; and Eugene and wife Brenda Coffey of Leitchfield, KY

  • Three sisters: Bonnie and husband Tim Hubbard, Barbara Coffey, and Wanda and husband Jimmy Vibbert all of Edmonton, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Dean Coffey.

Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
