Betty Foster, 82, of the Pellyton community, died Thursday, May 30, 2013 at her residence.

Betty Foster, Adair County, KY (1930-2013

She was born Saturday, November 15, 1930, in Chicago, Cook County, IL. She was the daughter of the late Theodore and Eleanor Merdian Ely. She died Thursday, May 30, 2013, in Pellyton, Adair County, KY at the age of 82 years, 6 months, and 15 days.

She was the widow of Bert Foster and attended Eunice Church of God.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two daughters: Pamela (Ron) Polowy of Pellyton, KY; and Rebecca (Craig) Goldstone of North Carolina

  • One brother: Theodore Ely of Chicago, IL

  • One sister: Arlene Landgraf of Chicago, IL

  • Six grandchildren

  • Eight great-grandchildren
Per her request, cremation has been chosen.
