Coach Ryan McQueary apologizes for incident

"If I could somehow take it all back I would but without being able to do that all I can do is become better and stronger following the mistake I made. I also want to issue a challenge to all parents, grandparents, and spectators that little league sports are for kids and we should allow them to have fun so please learn from my mistake." - - RYAN McQUEARY

Statement by Coach Ryan McQueary

I want to personally and publicly apologize for the incident that took place a couple of nights ago at Joe Johnson Little League Park. I am deeply sorry for the decisions that I made and for my actions that occurred that night. As an educator and coach in the Adair Co. School System, I understand how I let down a lot of children and parents and I can assure you that this mistake was out of character for me.

If I could somehow take it all back I would but without being able to do that all I can do is become better and stronger following the mistake I made. I also want to issue a challenge to all parents, grandparents, and spectators that little league sports are for kids and we should allow them to have fun so please learn from my mistake. I learned that we have to make this a positive experience for our children and I again apologize for interrupting the chance for our kids to love baseball.

Sincerely,
--Coach Ryan McQueary
