May 25, 2013) She was the daughter of the late Ellie Vernon and Sarah Francis Poynter, a homemaker and life long member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Knob Lick. She was the matriarch of a large, respected Metcalfe County, KY, family. She leaves 21 direct living descendants Funeral services will be 1pmCT, Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at the Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Asbury-Center Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT, Monday, May 27, 2013 at the funeral home. She was the daughter of the late Ellie Vernon and Sarah Francis Poynter, a homemaker and life long member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Knob Lick. She is survived by the following:
