Special Event at the Market this week: Green River Bagua will present self defense demonstrations with a focus on children, women and seniors.

Special Guests at the Market this week: Amedisys Home Health, Beverly Curry RN, Patient Advocate, free blood pressure checks.

Here's some of what you can expect at the Farmer's Market on the Square for Saturday, May 18, 2013


  • Darrell Bunnel of Coview Farm 270-384-5412 - has bedding plants for your vegetable and flower garden. Crisp lettuce, green onions and the first CUCUMBERS of the season.
  • Caitlin Helm of Lonely Acre Farm - Fresh baked white and wheat bread, delishious sweet breads.
  • Terry Huff of Heavenly Homestead Cheese 270-250-2979 - Hand crafted whole milk natural cheeses. This week's cheeses are Cheddar, Smokehouse, Tomato-Basil, Pepper Jack, Monterey Jack, Garlic and Herb and Colby.
  • Barbara Armitage of Tucker's Station Farms 270-250-2979 - Home grown Strawberries, Blackberry and Strawberry plants, Red Bud trees, artisan breads and Carrot Cake.
  • Melinda Vetter of Artisan Bath and Body 270-864-2892 - Natural ingredient soaps and products to pamper yourself. 20% of all profits donated to local women's charities.
  • Dale Whittingham of Dales Miniatures 270-378-4859 - Hand crafted miniature barns, houses, historical buildings. Special orders taken to reproduce your home.
  • Jana Esch of Just Natural Products 270-378-1375 - All natural hand crafted skin care products and soaps. Beeswax candles, room scents and natural household cleaners.
