Driver injured in collision near LBN 53 mm, east of Columbia, KY Passing incident; both vehicles eastbound. Updated information: Adair County Magistrate Perry W. Reeder (District 4), 55, Columbia, KY, transported to Russell County Hospital by Adair County EMS By TFC William Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY - Trooper Kenny Brown is investigating a collision that occurred Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 1:36pmCT on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway near the 53 Mile Marker. 37-year-old Jamie Luttrell of Bowling Green was traveling east in a 2012 Jeep Wrangler. Luttrell attempted to pass an eastbound 1996 Geo Tracker and struck the Tracker in the rear causing it to travel off of the roadway where it struck a tree. The Tracker was operated by 55-year-old Perry W. Reeder of Columbia, KY. Reeder was transported by Adair County EMS to the Russell County Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Luttrell was not injured. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. - TFC WM.
