Randall Smith, Adair County, KY (1951-2013)

He served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Air Force and was a surgical technician. He was the son of the late Ernest Smith and Pearl Moore Smith, who survives. His wife, Debbie Bright Smith, also survives. He leaves 7 direct living descendants.

Randall Smith, 62, of Columbia, KY, died Friday, May 3, 2013 at 1:30amCT at his residence after an illness.

Cremation has been chosen and a memorial service will be held at a later date.



Randall Smith, Adair County, KY (1951-2013)

He was born Saturday, April 20, 1951, in Nashville, TN. He was the son of the late Ernest Smith and Pearl Moore Smith, who survives, of Mt. Juliet, TN. He died Friday, May 3, 2013, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 62 years, 13 days.

He served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Air Force and was a surgical technician.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by:
  • His wife: Debbie Bright Smith of Columbia, KY

  • Two sons: Calvin Smith of Bowling Green, KY, and Thomas Smith of Smyrna, TN

  • Two daughters: Samantha Slade of Columbia, KY, and Yolanda Talley Smith of Arkansas

  • Three grandchildren: Darrion Slade, Jasmine Oller and Jacob Talley

  • Three brothers: Thomas (Deloris), Geary (Brenda) and Timothy (Dawnelle) Smith all of Tennessee

  • Two sisters: Ernesteen (Cecil) Edwards and Brenda (Roger) Moss all of Tennessee

  • A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends also survive
Cremation has been chosen and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
