Bootlegging: Police arrest man in daylight raid on Parrott Avenue

Five officers execute search warrant, confiscate cash, 360 cans of beer, 107 pints of liquor, and make arrest. Investigation continues

Columbia Police Department

Columbia Police Department executed a search warrant on two properties today, May 2, 2013. At approximately 1:30pmCT, Thursday, Columbia Police officers conducted their searches at 172 and 190 Parrott Avenue, Columbia, KY, to wit, property of alcoholic beverages for sale in violation of local option laws.



Seized was cash, 360 cans of beer, and 107 pints of liquor, Kevin West, 56, of Columbia was charged with Illegal Sale of Alcohol in a Dry Territory.

Ofc. Josh Brockman is continuing the investigation with more charges pending. CPD Sgt Murphy and Officers Brad Scholl, Jordan Dean, and Drew Conn assisted.
