Backyard Oil: Amish Dan is the real thing

Comments re article 59285 Jackson Brower MadDog is favorite Backyard Oil character

April Janes writes:
Amish Dan is really Amish. We have a house by him. He was not acting - April Janes
Thanks, April Janes. That's right gratifying to know. Good enough, with reservations about Backyard Oil farther along, for CM; hope it's good enough answer for Jackson Brower.

But the real issues are now cropping up: Why isn't Richie Janes starring on a show? He's the authority on the Gradyville field and lots of other stuff, and an oil baron in his own right.

Why doesn't Backyard Oil have Joe Moore, Adair County's Keenan Wynn look alike, and oil baron and baroness father-in-law in an episode? Tell us that!

And one more thing: I haven't seen a thing of Miz Vicky, her oil finding neighbor Jimmy Woody and the Flatwoods Styrofoam Bear.

Not even Junior Stotts, who surely can find oil with an iPhone - he can quote any scripture in the Bible with it; finding oil with an iPhone should be no great task. But I'll keep watching, if just for the culture and enlightenment, which we're for. - Ed Waggener
