The Tigers advanced to the finals with a 4-1 win against Rio Grande (Ohio) earlier in the day. Lindsey Wilson, the last team left in the winner's bracket, could have captured the championship with a win, but will instead play a true championship game against Campbellsville at 6pmCT on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Egnew Park. It was a promising start for the Blue Raiders, going on top 1-0 in the first inning on a single by center fielder Manuel Alonso. Lindsey Wilson outhit the Tigers 10-9 for the game, but a four-hit, three-run second inning that included a Brandon Johnson home run, gave Campbellsville the momentum to pull off the win. - Dan White, Lindsey Wilson College This story was posted on 2013-05-02 06:36:33
