Adair Co. Tire Amnesty starts Thursday, May 16, 2013

News from the Adair County Judge Executive's Office

Adair County's three day tire amnesty will be 7am-4pmCT, Thursday-Friday, May 16-17, 2013, and 7am-12pm noon CT, on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at the Kentucky Highway Department , 103 Service Road, Columbia, KY. Personnel will be on site to help unload.

All tires, including those on rims, will be accepted. Exceptions are foam filled tires, off road equipment tires, and solid tires with pressed on rims. Eligible participants do no include tire retailers.

The free tire disposal is sponsored by the Adair County Fiscal Court and the Kentucky Division of Waste Management.
