He was a native of Russell County, the son of the late Laurel Grady and Lou Ina Bennett Rexroat. He is survived by his wife, Diana Rexroat. He was the patriarch of a respected family. He leaves two direct and three step living descendants. He was a retired employee of Bennett's Carpets in Russell Springs, KY

Donald Rexroat, 66, of Russell Springs, died Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral service for Donald Rexroat will be 1pmCT/2pmET, Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Rev.Lindsey Cornett and Rev. Scott Proctor officiating. Friends may call after 11amCT/12pm noon ET, Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Bernard Cemetery.


Pallbearers: Eddie Rexroat, Donnie Cooper, Bill West, Jimmy West, Eric West, and Zack West

He was born Friday, April 11, 1947, in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Laurel Grady and Lou Ina Bennett Rexroat. He died Saturday, April 20, 2013 in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY

He was a retired employee of Bennett's Carpets.

Survivors include his wife, Diana Rexroat, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • Two sons: Christopher Dale (Deana) Rexroat, and Michael Paul Rexroat, both of Russell Springs, KY

  • Three step sons: Bill West, Frankfort, KY; Jimmy West, Russell Springs, KY; and Eric West, Russell Springs, KY
  • Two brothers: Leethon (Betty) Rexroat, Mooresville, IN; and Laurel Dean (Ruth) Rexroat, Russell Springs, KY
