News from Lindsey Wilson College

COLUMBIA, KY - Fresh off a run to the 2013 NAIA Men's Basketball Fab Four, Lindsey Wilson's senior class made a trip to Campbellsville, KY, on Tuesday to discuss health and fitness at the Pack 777 Cub Scouts' most recent meeting.

Pack 777 is chartered by the Campbellsville First United Methodist Church and consists of first through fifth graders from Campbellsville Elementary and Taylor County Elementary. The group's charter representative is Chris Goodson.

The student-athletes received such questions as balancing athletics with class work, mentioning an emphasis on the commitment to do your best, whether it's with training or studying. The night ended with a session of dribbling and shooting drills at the church's children's wing gymnasium.

"Lindsey Wilson has always been there for me, helping me achieve my goals in education, spiritual goals and in life," said Goodson. "I appreciate the coaches and players commitment to core values and assisting the young boys of Pack 777's development towards those same things." - DAN WHITE
