Marie L. Scott Buck passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013, at her daughter's home in Franklin, Indiana. She was 81.

Funeral services are 10amCT/11amET, Thursday April 18, 2013 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Bill Warren officiating. Burial is at Whited Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-9pmET, at the funeral home.

Marie L. Scott Buck, Casey Co., KY (1932-2013)

Born Friday, February 29, 1932 in Casey County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Millard and Nora Emerson Scott. She died Saturday, April 14, 2013, in Franklin, Johnson County, IN, at the age of 81 years, 1 month, and 14 days.

She is the widow of Kirby Buck , who preceded her in death on December 8, 2000.

Survivors include the following:
  • A son: Travis (and Cindy) Buck of Franklin, IN

  • Four daughters: Wilma Cochran of Indianapolis, IN; Bernice (and Bobby) Parsons of Murray , KY; Margaret (and Bobby) Williams of Franklin, IN; and Zelda (and Tom) Peters of Franklin, IN

  • Eleven grandchildren

  • Eight great-grandchildren

  • Two brothers: Phillip (and Linda) Scott of Liberty, KY; and Bobby (and Barbara ) Scott of Paoli, IN

  • Sister: Comella (and Doug) Hafley of Stanford, KY
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Larry Dean Buck, a grandchild; and two brothers, Ray and Ulas Scott.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY.
