Three injured in collision on Fairground Street, Columbia, KY Stone wall at entrance of VFW building stops 1994 Ford Ranger Click on headline for complete story with photo(s) By Ofc. Josh Brockman, Public Affairs Officer Columbia Police Department, Chief Jason Cross Columbia Police responded to injury collision on Fairground Street in the limits of Columbia, KY, Monday at approximately 1:42pmCT. Unit 1 operated by Denissa Gaither, age 32 of Columbia, KY, who was making a left hand turn in a 1997 Nissan and turned into the path of Unit 2, a 1994 Ford Ranger operated by 23 year old Jacob Roberts of Columbia, KY, and his passenger 24 year old Anthony Moss. Unit 1 and 2 struck in a head on manner. Unit 2 then continued, striking the stone wall at the entrance to the Columbia V.F.W. building, where it came to a stop. All 3 parties were treated by Adair County EMS and transferred to Westlake Regional Hospital. CPD Ofc. Johnny Dial is investigating assisted by Ofc. Josh Brockman. Agency's responding: Columbia Police Department, Adair County Sheriff's Department, Adair EMS, Adair Search and Rescue. - Ofc.
