Ms. Rhonda Gail Matney, age 53, of Greensburg, passed away early Sunday morning, April 14, 2013, at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY.

The funeral services for Ms. Rhonda Gail Matney will conducted at 1pmCT/2pmET, Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-6pmCT/5pm-7pmET, on Monday, April 15, 2013, and after 7amCT/8amET Tuesday, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home.

She was born March 3, 1960. She was the daughter of Garland Matney and Rosie Gibson Matney or Greensburg, Green County, KY. She died Sunday, April 14, 2013, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 53 years, 1 month, and 3 days.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her two children: Christina Bishop of Campbellsville, KY; and Lucas Milby of Campbellsville, KY

  • Her father and mother: Garland Matney & Rosie Gibson Matney of Greensburg, KY

  • Two brothers: Larry Matney and Jeff Matney, both of Greensburg, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Madison Noel Bishop, Stephen Noah Bishop, and Logan Ander Bishop, all of Campbellsville, KY
The Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY in charge of arrangements.
