Lonnie Clyde Scott, 78, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 7:18pmET, Friday, April 12, 2013 in Campbellsville.

Funeral services will be at 1pmCT/2pmET, Monday, April 15, 2013 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Darrell Tucker and Bro. David Curtsinger. Visitation will be 3pm-7pmCT/4pm-8pmET, Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Whited Cemetery in Casey County.



Lonnie Clyde Scott, Taylor Co., KY (1934-2013)

Lonnie Clyde Scott was the son of the late J. G. Scott and Maudie Wright Scott. He was born Sunday, July 29, 1934 in Casey County, KY. He died Friday, April 12, 2013 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 78 years, 8 months, and 14 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Dunbar Hill Community Church.

He was a retired construction worker with Sullivan Builders.

He united in marriage to Mary Margaret Mings September 8, 1979.

Besides his wife, Mary Margaret Scott of Campbellsville, KY, he is survived by the following:
  • Three sons and three daughters: Bruce Scott of Casey Creek, KY; Steve Scott and wife, Debbie of Liberty, KY; Mark Scott and wife, Jana of Shelbyville, KY; Barbara Phillippe of Tunnel Hill, GA; Rebecca Blevins and husband, Jimmy of Gravel Switch, KY; and Vickie Dempsey and husband, Patrick of Lebanon, KY

  • Two step daughters: Debra Brady of Hodgenville, KY; and Patty Raley of Campbellsville, KY

  • Eighteen grandchildren

  • Three great grandchildren

  • Three sisters: Betty Jean Johnson, Nannie Long and Delk Rogers of Liberty, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by six brothers and seven sisters.
