Haskel Gillock passed away Thursday April 11, 2013 at his home in Hustonville, KY. He was 68.

Funeral services are 1pmCT/2pmET, Monday April 15, 2013 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Jonathan Grizzell officiating. Burial is at Poplar Grove Cemetery. Visitation is 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Sunday April 14, 2013 at the funeral home.



Haskel B. Gillock, Casey Co., KY (1944-2013)


Born Sundaym, October 15, 1944 in Casey County,KY, he was the son of the late Everett and Mary Wilkinson Gillock. He died Thursday, April 11, 2013, in Hustonville, KY, at the age of 68 years, 5 months, and 27 days.

He was a former supervisor at American Tokyo Rope in Danville, KY and a member of the Hustonville Baptist Church. Survivors include his beloved wife, Eva Taylor Gillock of Hustonville, KY, and the following:
  • A son: Dwight (and Tammy) Gillock of Stanford, KY

  • A daughter: Crystal (and Aaron ) Etherington of Hustonville, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Tiffany Gaines, Kayla Alcorn, Amber Hendrickson and Reese Etherington

  • Five great grandchildren,

  • Two sisters: Lucille Asbury of Lancaster, KY; and Launa Crowe of Waynesburg
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Lilburn Gillock; and five sisters, Cynthia Wethington , Geneva Peck, Nannie Lane, Naomi Streeval and Helen Poff
