Roger Roy, Russell Co., KY (1939-2013) He was a retired supervisor at the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation and was a member of the Russell Springs United Methodist Church. He was the patriarch of a large, highly regarded family. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Hale Roy. He leaves three direct living descendants Roger Roy, 74, of Russell Springs, died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. Funeral services for Roger Roy will be 10amCT/11amET, Monday, April 15, 2013 at the Russell Springs United Methodist Church, 206 Jamestown Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Jim Kingry, Bro. Dennis Price and Bro. Mark Hale officiating. Friends may call 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Sunday, April 14, 2013, at the church. Burial in the Russell Springs City Cemetery. Roger Roy, Russell Co., KY (1939-2013) He was born Wednesday, February 22, 1939 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of Flona B. Norman Roy and the late Orvis Roe Roy. He died Thursday, April 11, 2013, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 74 years, 1 months, and 17 days. He was a retired supervisor at the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation and was a member of the Russell Springs United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, Garneth Roy. Survivors include the following:
