Regina Spears Bennett age 79 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Tuesday, April 09, 2013 at Clinton County Hospital after an illness.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 2pmCT/3pmET, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with burial in Burkesville Cemetery, N Main Street, Burkesville, KY. Family requests visitation 3pm-9pmCT/4pm-10pmET, Friday, April 12, 2013 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville.

She was born on July 19, 1933 in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Taylor Keen and Ida Mae Coffey Keen. She died Tuesday, April 9, 2013, in Albany, Clinton County, KY, at the age of 79 years, 8 months, and 21 days.

Regina was a homemaker and member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four children, Noah Wayne Bennett, Joyce Ann Norris, Daryl Keith Spears, and Jamie Lynn Davis; three siblings, Dolly Dimple Spears, James Keen, and Bobby Jim Keen; and two grandchildren, Carl Shannon Norris, and Malcolm Tony Bennett,

Survivors include the following:
  • One son: Malcolm Bennett of Burkesville, KY

  • Three sisters: Dorothy Davidson of Burkesville, KY; Delsie Porter of Byrdstown, TN; and Minnie Oberland of Illinois

  • Seventeen grandchildren

  • Several great grandchildren

  • And several great great grandchildren
