Nancy Reeves, 85 of Campbellsville, KY, died at 3:40pmET, Sunday, April 7, 2013 in Campbellsville, KY.

Services will be at 1pmET/12pmCT, Wednesday, April 10, 2013, graveside, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Green County, KY, by Rev. Jeff Eaton and Dr. James Jones.



Pallbearers: J. T. Henderson, Samuel Reeves, III; Adam Reynolds, Daniel Reynolds, Bobby Joe Simpson, and David Simpson.

Nancy Reeves, Taylor Co., KY, (1927-2013)

Nancy Reeves was the daughter of the late Hershel Simpson and Lillie Robertson Simpson, She was born Tuesday, August 16, 1927, in Logan County, KY. She died Sunday, April 7, 2013 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 85 years, 7 months, and 22 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Summersville Baptist Church.

She united in marriage to Samuel Edward Reeves, Sr. November 26, 1943. He preceded her in death March 26, 1995.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son and two daughters: Samuel Edward Reeves, Jr. and wife, Cindy of Columbia, South Carolina; Sandy Reynolds and husband, David and Sherry Sprowles and husband, Steve of Campbellsville, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Samuel Edward Reeves, III of Camp Lejeune, NC; TaiAnn Webster and husband, Ben of Lexington, KY; Daniel Reynolds and wife, Dawn and Adam Reynolds of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three great-grandchildren: Samuel Edward Reeves, IV, Mason Reynolds and Sawyer Reynolds

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • and many other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Martha Jane Reeves December 26, 1946; five brothers and two sisters, Douglas Simpson, Roy Simpson, John A Simpson, Tommy Simpson, Wendell Simpson, Louise Larimore, and Mary Evelyn Henderson.

The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
