Ethel Taylor, 84, of Lexington, died Thursday, April 4, 2013 at North Pointe Health Care in Lexington, KY.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 1pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Clifford Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation after 11amCT, Saturday, April 6, 2013.

Ethel Taylor, 84, Adair County, KY (1928-2013)

She was born September 19, 1928, in Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky, to the late Russell and Mary Simpson Coy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Taylor on December 5, 2008, and one son, James Taylor.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include the following:
  • Three sons: Russell Taylor of Lexington, KY; Patrick Taylor of Olive Hill, KY; and Clifford Taylor of Lancaster, KY

  • One daughter: Juanita Davis of Lexington, KY

  • Two sisters: Anna Young of Harrodsburg, KY; and Beulah Coy of Lexington, KY

  • Five grandchildren

  • Seven great grandchildren
