Mrs. Mary Lou Pepper Sidebottom, 87, of Green County, KY, departed this life on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at her home in Green County..

The funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lou Pepper Sidebottom will be conducted at 11amCT/12pmET, Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Wilson Cemetery. Bro. Robert Knight will be officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-9pmET, Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT/8pmET, Wednesday until time of the funeral service.

Mrs. Mary Lou Pepper Sidebottom of Green County, KY, was born on September 14, 1925 in Hart County, KY, and departed this life on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at her home in Green County, KY. She was 87 years, six months, and 16 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Forest Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a homemaker.

She united in marriage to William Smith Sidebottom on September 17, 1948 who preceded her in death on June 21, 1995.

Survivors include the following:
  • A daughter and son in law: Diane and Elijah Bowling of Edgewood, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Patricia Lynn Rattliff and her husband Scott of Ohio, and Jason Elijah Bowling and his wife Desiree of California, KY

  • Two great grandchildren: Walter Elijah Rattliff, and Lillian Grace Rattliff of Ohio

  • Two sisters: Ophia Clark of Louisville, and Gladys Milby of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Mrs. Sidebottom was also preceded in death by a son, James Michael Sidebottom on March 2, 2004.

Memorials are suggested to Hosparus of Central Kentucky, or the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.

The Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY in charge of arrangements.
