William (Bill) Roberts, Casey Co., KY (1941-2013) He was the patriarch of a large respected Casey County, KY, family with strong ties in Adair, Pulaski, and Lincoln Counties, KY and beyond. He leaves 10 direct living descendants. He was a retired factory worker and member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church. Bill was an avid ham radio operator. His wife, Hazel (Joan) Richards Roberts, survives. William "Bill" Roberts passed away Sunday March 24, 2013 at the Russell County Hospital, He was 71. Funeral services will be at 12pm noon CT/1pmET, Thursday March 28, 2013 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. James Lynn and Bro. Jimmy Brown officiating. Burial is at Poplar Grove Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday, March 27, 2013, from 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, at the funeral home. William "Bill" Roberts, Casey Co., KY (1941-2013) He was the son of the late Howard Newton and Vivian Cochran Roberts. He was born April 7, 1941 in Casey County, KY. He died Sunday, March 24, 2013, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 71 years, 11 months, and 17 days. He was a retired factory worker and member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church. Bill was an avid HAM radio operator. Survivors include the following:
