Mrs. Eva Jewell Shuffett, 82, Greensburg, KY, departed this life Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Grandview Nursing and Rehab in Campbellsville, KY,

Funeral services will be at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, 1pmCT/2pmET, Monday, March 25, 2013. Bro. Roger Robertson, will officiate. Interment will be in Liberty Separate Baptist Church Cemetery, Green County, KY.



Pallbearers: Troy Curry, Tim Curry, Joe B. Curry, Greg Long, Dennis Curry, and Greg Thornton.

Eva Jewell Shuffett, Green County, KY (1930-2013)


Eva Jewell Shuffett was born May 20, 1930 in Green County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Etheridge Banks Curry and Inez Brockman Curry. She departed this life Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, having attained the age of 82 years, 10 months and 2 days.

Mrs. Shuffett had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member and former Sunday School Teacher of Liberty Separate Baptist Church.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death August 2, 1996 by her husband Will Ed Shuffett, one son: Billy Lucian Shuffett, four brothers and one sister: Harold, Charles, Willie, Roger and Juanita Curry.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son and daughter in law: Don Edward and Kelli Shuffett of Campbellsville, KY

  • One daughter: Annette Shuffett Walker of Greensburg, KY and special friend, Joe Gaddie

  • Two grandsons: J. and Becky Moore and Kyler Tucker of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two great granddaughters: Hannah Moore and Jaylie Moore

  • Two brothers and sisters in law: Joe and Jane Curry of Campbellsville, KY and Jim and Thelma Curry of Greensburg, KY

  • Six sisters and two brothers in law: Doris and Steve Manning of Louisville, KY, Judy Metcalfe of Campbellsville, KY, Louise Parrish, Sue Bondurant and Wanda and Mitch Edelen of Pensacola, Florida and Martha Curry of Greensburg, KY

  • Sister in law: Sharon Curry of Greensburg, KY

  • Plus a host of other relatives and friends
