Barbara E. Neal Thurman, age 61, of Glasgow, Ky., formerly of the Gaines Hill Community in Cumberland County, KY, passed away on Friday March 22, 2013 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services for Barbara E. Neal Thurman will be held on Tuesday March 26, 2013 at 2:30pmCT, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY. Burial will be in the Gaines Hill Cemetery. Visitation for Barbara E. Neal Thurman will be on Tuesday March 26, 2013 at 1pmCT, until the funeral hour.




Survivors include the following:
  • Her children: Mary Ann DeWeese of Summer Shade, KY; and Charles Capps of Glasgow, KY

  • Her brothers and sisters: Helen Rhoten of Indianapolis, IN; James Robert "Bobby" Neal of Burkesville, KY; Norman Neal of Edmonton, KY; Shirel Neal of Glasgow, KY; Kimberly Severe of Burkesville, KY

  • Seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
