Faye Arnett, Salyersville, KY (1933-2013)

Mrs. Arnett was the mother of Columbia, KY, dentist Dr. Debra Arnett Brashear

Faye Arnett age 79 of Salyersville, KY passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the Physicians Regional Healthcare System in Naples, FL.

Funeral services for Faye Arnett will be conducted at 12pmCT/1pmET, Monday, March 25, 2013 from the Salyersville First Baptist Church, 134 Dixie Avenue, Salyersville, KY, with Rev. Gary Arnett officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, KentucKY. Friends may call at the Salyersville First Baptist Church on Sunday, March 24, 2013 from 4pm-8pmCT/5pm/9pmET and anytime Monday prior to funeral services.



Faye Arnett, Salyersville, KY (1933-2013)


Faye was born July 16, 1933 in Magoffin County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Hargis and Eliza Arnett. She died Thursday, March 21, 2013, in Naples, Collier County, FL, at the age 79 years, 8 months, and 5 days.

She is also preceded in death by her husband Elmer Arnett.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two daughters: Dr. Debra Arnett (Robert) Brashear of Columbia, KY; and Winnie Arnett (Daniel) Gardner of Salyersville, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Byron Gardner, Stuart Gardner, Austin Brashear and Matt Brashear
Beside her parents and husband Faye is preceded in death by one brother Winfred Arnett and one sister Minnie Arnett.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that contributions please be made to the Salyersville First Baptist Church building fund or the Mountain Comprehensive Care Center Greenhouse Program. The Magoffin Funeral Home, 817 Parkway Drive, Salyersville, KY, in charge of arrangements. Phone. 606-349-3333.
