Anson Genus Steward age 43 years of Lexington, KY passed away suddenly March 21, 2013 in Lexington, KY.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at 2pmCT/3pmET, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be 3:30pm-8pmCT/4:30pm-9pmET, on Saturday at the funeral home.



Anson Genus Steward, Adair Co., KY (1969-2013)


He was born Sunday June 29, 1969 in Somerset, KY the son of Jack Lee and Joyce Tucker Steward. He died Thursday, March 21, 2013, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 43 years, 8 months, and 22 days.

He was a master musician, vocalist and worship leader from the time he was 5 years old. His music will be missed by many whose lives were influenced throughout his life. He was serving as the Worship Pastor at Trinity Life Center in Lexington, KY.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Brenda Deaton Steward, and the following:
  • Three beautiful daughters whom he always referred to as his "three queens": Elizabeth Georgia Anne, Victoria Grace Breanne, Isabella Pearl Leeanne, all of Lexington, KY

  • His mother Joyce Tucker Steward, Lexington, KY

  • His very special Aunt and Uncle Peter and Jane Condes and many, many cousins
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Steward Memorial Fund, % Trinity Life Center 1280 Higbee Mill Road, Lexington, KY 40503.
