Richard Lee Carter, 64, Cherokee Avenue, Russell Springs, KY, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at his home.

Funeral services will be at 2pmCT/3pmET, Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Roger Price officiating. Visitation will be after 11amCT/12pm noon ET, Saturday. Burial will be in Cold Springs Cemetery, Liberty, KY.



Richard Lee Carter, Russell Co., KY (1948-2013)


He was born Tuesday, March 30, 1948, in Ypsilanti, Wastenaw County, MI. He was the son of the late Leroy Carter and Thelma (Crain) Carter. He died Wednesday March 20, 1913, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 64 years, 11 months, and 21 days.


He is survied by his wife, Annatta (May) Carter, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • Two daughters: Tammy Carter, Russell Springs, KY; and Patricia Burton, Jamestown, KY

  • One son: Richard Carter, Russell Springs, KY

  • One sister: Barbara Zimmerman, Taylor, MI

  • Two brothers: Kenny Carter, Taylor, MI; and Roy Carter, Southgate, MI

  • Four grandchildren
