Rita Lee Berry, 49, of Columbia, died Monday, March 18, 2013 at 11:50pmET at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville, KY, with with Bro.Ivan Tucker officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 1pmCT/2pmET, Friday, March 22, 2013.



Casket Bearers: Brandon Cornelison, David Foster, Cagney Burton, Mike Cook, Barry Petty, and Thomas Long.

Honorary: Jonathan Neat, Eric VanArsdale, Cameron Garmon, Charles Shirley, Kenny Buck Redmon, Curtis Grant, and Mitchell Bault

She was born September 11, 1963, in Adair County, KY. She died Monday, March 18, 2o13, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 49 years, 6 months, and 7 days.

She was a member of Cane Valley Christian Church, was a Licensed Certified Nurse's Assistant, was secretary for Travis Coomer Well Service and was an Organ Donor.

She was the granddaughter of the late Harel and Lucille "Nanny" Sparks Rogers and Will and Welthy Berry

Survivors include:
  • Her mother: Wanda Rogers Berry of Cane Valley, KY

  • Her father: Thomas Jr. (Linda) Berry of London, KY

  • Two children: Ray (Morgan) Rowe of Cane Valley and Kritsy (Scotty) Foster of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Billy (Sherwin) Berry of Cane Valley, KY

  • Her fiance': Clayton Hadley, Jr., of Fairplay, KY; and his children; Hannah Marie(Derick) Redmon, Ryan Clayton Hadley

  • Six grandchildren: Jynelle and Ryleigh Rowe, Christopher and Breanna Foster, Kylie Marie Miller and Peanut

  • Two nieces: Katie Jeffries and Toni Berry

  • Her "Special Daughter": Tasha Hadley

  • Several other relatives and friends
