Luther Witt, Jr., 78, Russell County, KY, died Friday, March 15, 2013, at his home in Russell Springs, KY.

The funeral services will be at 1pmCT, Sunday, March 17, 2013, at the Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E. Steve Wariner Road, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Kenneth Hammon officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, March 17, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Farr Cemetery, Liberty, KY.

Luther Witt, Jr., Russell Co., KY (1934-2013)

He was born April 20, 1934, in Liberty, Casey County, KY. He was the son of the late Luther Witt and the late Maude (Allen) Witt. He died Friday, March 15, 2013, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 78 years, 10 months, and 25 days.

He was a factory worker.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy (Vest) Witt, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • Five daughters: Charlene Tucker, Whitley City, KY; Francine Hacker, Science Hill, KY; Annette Issacs Westchester, Ohio; Denise Barnes, Fayetteville, OH; and Teresa Oldfield, Middletown, OH

  • Three sisters: Opal Helm, Liberty, KY; Edith Taylor, Illinois; and Robert Atwood, Cincinnati, OH

  • One brother: Wallace Witt, Somerset, KY

  • A host of grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and great great great grandchildren
