Donald Stotts, Adair County, KY (1949-2013)

He was a member of a highly regarded South Adair County family. He was the son of the late Bill and Bonnie Sexton Stotts. He is survived by his wife, Faye Cowan Stotts and leaves one direct living descendant. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in Germany, and will be accorded full military honors by Columbia VFW Post 6097. He was a member of the Sparksville Church of the Nazarene and a retired factory worker for McCammish Manufacturing

Donald Stotts, 63, of Columbia, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 3:50pmCT at his residence after an illness.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home,200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY with Bro. Lonny Karnes and Bro. Brian Fudge officiating. Burial in the McClister Cemetery, 4136 Fairplay Road, Columbia, KY, with full military honors presented by VFW Post 6097. Visitation will be after 4pmCT/5pmET, Friday, March 8, 2013, at the funeral home.



Casket Bearers: Robert Smith, Michael Corbin, Larry Baker, Billy Stotts, Larin Stotts, Brent Thompson, Telsie Fudge, and Lee Barker.

He was born November 24, 1949, in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Bill and Bonnie Sexton Stotts. He died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, in Columbia KY, at the age of 63 years, 3 months, 12 days.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnnie and Frankie Stotts, and two sisters, Marsha Fudge and Faye Catlett.

Survivors Include the following:
  • His wife: Faye Cowan Stotts of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Annetta Stotts of Columbia, KY

  • Two brothers: James and Larry Stotts both of Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Geneva Janes of Columbia, KY

  • Several other relatives and friends
