Funeral services will be Saturday, March 09, 2013 at 1pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Burkesville, KY with Bro. James Powell officiating. Burial in Burkesville Cemetery, N Main Street, Burkesville, KY. The family requests visitation from 4pm-9pmCT, Friday, March 08, 2013 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home

Warren G. Carter, 90, Burkesville, KY (1922-2013) Warren G. Carter was born on Wednesday, June 12, 1922 in Cumberland County, KY. He was the son of the late Virgil and Addie Rutledge Carter. He died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 90 years, 8 months, and 24 days.

He was a former factory worker and a farmer, and had attended Liberty United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four sisters, Hazel Medina, Margie Humphrey, Ruth Davidson, and Pauline Coffman, and three brothers, Malcolm Carter, Herbert Carter, and Jimmy Carter

Survivors include the following:
  • His wife: Vicie Carter of Burkesville, KY

  • One brother: Marvin Carter of Marion, IN

  • One sister: Olene Ball of Oklahoma

  • a host of nieces, nephews and friends
