Commentary: Recycling can cut costs By Vonnie Kolbenschlag Guest editorial Recycling can lessen costs of trash/garbage disposal, and save resources. Adair County Recycling Facility, 53 Service Road, off Hwy 55 N (Campbellsville Roadon left heading north) by county garage is open M - F, 7am-3pmCT and on Saturday, 7am-12pm noon CT. Please recycle: plastic bottles, cans (remove lids and rinse). paper, mixed, magazines, books, batteries, cardboard, used oil. The center can shred papers. Recycling saves landfill space and saves resources and energy consumed in making a product from raw material. Styrofoam cannot be recycled.
