He was a Willow Shade, KY, native and a U.S. Army veteran. he was a retired farmer and the son of the late Sanford Ezra and Hylus Lee White Lester. He is survived by his wife, Donnie Shaw Lester. He leaves 4 direct living descendants.

Nathanual Wayne (Nig) Lester, age 83 of Edmonton formerly of Willow Shade died Saturday, March 2, 2013 at his daughters.

Funeral services will be Tuesday March 5, 2013 at 1pmCT, at the McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY with burial to follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm-8pmCT, Monday March 4, 2013 at the funeral home



The Willow Shade native and U.S. Army veteran. he was a retired farmer and the son of the late Sanford Ezra and Hylus Lee White Lester.

He is survived by his wife Donnie Shaw Lester, and the following:
    One daughter: Sandra Lester(Timmy Allbright) Anderson both of Edmonton, KY
  • Two grandsons: Brandon McCoy and Nick Anderson

  • One great granddaughter: Hallie Brooke McCoy

  • One brother: Frank (Reva) Lester of Willow Shade, KY

  • and three sisters Juanita Miller and Hazel McFarland of Glasgow and Helen Garrett of Utah
In addition to his parents, he was preceeded in death by one daughter Connie Wayne Lester and three brothers Rondal, Murl and Tennyson Lester.

Donations may be made to the Summer Shade Fire Dept. in care of the funeral home at 2232 Summer Shade Road Summer Shade, Ky. 42166.
