Mrs. Glenda Nadine Mars Dixon, 59, of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Friday, March 1, 2013 at her home in Green County, KY.

The funeral services for Mrs. Glenda Nadine Mars Dixon will be conducted at 2pmCT/3pmET, Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Bro. Trent Davis and Bro. Ricky Arnett will be officiating. Visitation is requested 2:30pm-9pmCT/3:30pm-10pmET, Monday, March 4, 2013 at the funeral home and after 7amCT/8pmET, Tuesday until time of the funeral service.

Mrs. Glenda Nadine Mars Dixon was the daughter of Ausbon Arlon "Bill" Mars and Mary Frances Wright Mars both of Greensburg, KY. She was born on Wednesday, October 28, 1953 in Barren County, KY, and departed this life on Friday, March 1, 2013 at her home in Green County, KY. She was 59 years, 4 months, and 1 day of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Separate Baptist Church, and was an ICQA Associate for Amazon.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Dixon is survived by her husband of 33 years, Paul Lawrence Dixon of Greensburg, having united in marriage on December 24, 1979, and the following:
  • Two daughters and a son in law: Brandy Nicole Gilpin of Greensburg, KY; and Amanda Ruth and Aaron Parks of Greensburg, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Brayden Taylor "Cowboy" Gilpin, Millie Gilpin, Abigail Parks all of Greensburg, KY; and Trystan Parks of West Virginia

  • A brother: Daryl Mars of Greensburg, KY

  • A sister and brother in law: Carolyn and Doug Robertson of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
The Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY in charge of arrangements.
