Jimmy Dale Stephens, 68, of Hwy. 1680, Jamestown, KY, died Friday, March 1, 2013 at his home.

Funeral Service for Jimmy Dale Stephens will be 10amCT, Monday, March 4, 2013, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Billy Silverman officiating. Burial will be in the Bernard Cemetery. Friends may call after 5pmCT Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the funeral home. Special music by Lori Stephens.


Pallbearers: Danny Stephens, Terry McQueary, Jason Crouch, Elijah Holland, Jody Holland, and Chip Gilley.

Jimmy Dale Stephens, Russell County, KY (1944-2013)

He was born June 27, 1944 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Alvin Ray and Retha Stephens. He died Friday, March 1, 2013, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY at the age of 68 years, 8 months, and 4 days.

He was retired from General Motors.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Lois Stephens, Irene Youngblood and four brothers; Getha, Bobby, Ralph, and Billy Stephens.

Survivors include the following:
  • His wife: Sharon Renee' Jones Stephens

  • Two step sons: Mick Davis, Jeremiah Caldwell, both of Anderson, IN

  • Six step grandchildren

  • Two sisters: Gladys Simpson, Sharon Coffey, both of Russell Springs, KY

  • Five brothers: Curtis Stephens and Verlon Stephens, both of Anderson, IN; and Hollis C. Stephens, Elbert Stephens, and Collis Stephens, all of Russell Springs, KY
