Hates to see old houses disappearing

So sad these wonderful old houses are disappearing - and not all by arson - some deliberately torn down because they are "old" and you "can't do anything with an old house." The old houses are much better constructed than most people wish to believe. The architecture is stately and personable. I miss the old houses that have disappeared through the years.
