Mr. Charles M. Acree, age 72, of Smiths Grove, Kentucky passed away Monday February 25, 2013 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday February 28, 2013 at 11amCT, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Todd Bryant officiating. Burial will be in The Dutch Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3pmCT, Wednesday February 27, 2013 until the funeral hour on Thursday. Masonic Rites will be conducted on Wednesday evening at 7pmCT, by The Cumberland Lodge # 413 F. and A.M. The Lodge will open at 6pmCT.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughters, Delinda Acree and Robin Acree, his sister, Norma Joanne Price and his sister-in-law, Betty Bryant Groce. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Faye Bryant Acree of Smiths Grove, KY, his brother, Gene Austin (and Sylvia) Acree of Edmonton, KY, his brother-in-law, Jimmy (and Linda) Bryant of Burkesville, KY, his sister-in-law, Helen (and Gail) McCoy of Knoxville, TN.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Faye Bryant Acree of Smiths Grove, KY and the following:
  • His brother: Gene Austin (and Sylvia) Acree of Edmonton, KY

  • His brother in law, Jimmy (and Linda) Bryant of Burkesville, KY

  • His sister in law: Helen (and Gail) McCoy of Knoxville, TN
