Carol Shuffett Stith, 62, of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. .

The funeral services for Carol Shuffett Stith will be conducted at 11amCT/12pm noon ET, Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Liberty Cemetery. Bro. Todd Davis, and Bro. Gleason Bloyd will be officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-9pmCT/5pm-10pmET, Wednesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT/8amET, Thursday until time of the funeral service.

Carol Shuffett Stith of Greensburg, Green County, KY, daughter of the late William C. Shuffett and Amelia Moore Shuffett, was born on April 30, 1950 in Green County, KY, and departed this life on Monday, February 25, 2013. in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY. She was 62 years, 9 months, and 26 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Liberty Separate Baptist Church. She was a Secretary for Nancy J. Stearman, CPA, and a member of the Greensburg/Green County Rotary Club.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two daughters and sons-in-law: Barbie and Billy Patterson of Greensburg, KY; and Teresa and Mike Waller of Ohio

  • Four grandchildren: Andrew Patterson and Dustin Patterson both of Greensburg, KY; Blake Waller and Kelsie Waller both of Ohio

  • Two brothers and three sisters in law: Eddie and Wanda Shuffett of Florida; Joe and Betty Joe Shuffett, and Betsy Shuffett all of Greensburg, KY

  • A sister and brother in law: Jenny and Gary Giles of Greensburg, KY

  • a family friend: Phyllis Sullivan of Campbellsville, KY

  • And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Ms. Stith was also preceded in death by two brothers: James Dale Shuffett on August 27, 2002, and Ronnie L. Shuffett on October 27, 2012.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Liberty Separate Baptist Church building fund, which can be made at the funeral home.

The Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.
