The Lindsey Wilson College mission to support training in the art of writing has the potential to make a major difference in the quality of communications for all time to come. I'm grateful. Retired teacher and mentor the late Mary Marshall Paul Todd believed in the importance of documenting the events of the day. Every time I sent her a note, she'd tell me to write more. Once she got impatient with me and said, "I don't care if you have no typewriter, write on a tablet, if you don't have a tablet come over here and I'll give you one. You. Must. Write. MORE." She's probably up there in heaven smiling at both the historian and the public relations writer who've shared their words this weekend.
