John C. Williams, Casey County, KY (1939-2013)

He was a Marine Corps veteran and worked for the Chrysler Corporation and Crete Trucking. John was a member of the Indianapolis Masonic Lodge # 669

John C. Williams passed away Tuesday February 5, 2013 at the Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield, Indiana. He was 73.

Funeral services are at 10amCT/11amET, Friday February 8, 2013 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Jeremy Atwood officiating. Burial is at the Hustonville Cemetery with military honors by the Casey County Funeral Squad. Visitation is Thursday from 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET at the funeral home with Masonic service at 6pmCT/7pmET.



Pallbearers: Pat Williams, Phillip Williams, Garnett Williams, George Brown, Danny Williams , Paul Reed, Edward Reed and Joseph Goode.

John C. Williams, Casey County, KY (1939-2013) Born Saturday, December 30, 1939 in Casey County, he was the son of the late Joe Sr. and Bessie Cochran Williams. He died Tuesday, February 5, 2013, in Greenfield, Hancock County, IN, at the age of 73 years, 1 month, and 6 days.

He was a Marine Corps veteran and worked for the Chrysler Corporation and Crete Trucking. John was a member of the Indianapolis Masonic Lodge # 669.

John is the widower of Agnes Traylor Williams, who passed away June 6, 1988.

Survivors include the following:
  • His longtime companion: Mrs. Waynie Whitaker of Greenfield, IN

  • Daughter: Stacy Nicole Williams of Indianapolis, IN

  • And two sisters: Brenda Williams of Stanford, KY; and Bernice Dean of Liberty, KY

  • In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his step- mother, Edna Williams; brothers, Rollan Williams, Leonard Williams, George Kenneth Williams and Joe Williams, Jr. and sisters, Pauline Sherrer and Catherine Gibson.

    Funeral arrangements entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY.
